- ● Rating: 1 Star (would give 0 or negative stars if possible)The advertised 8 hours is just lecture time—you need way more time to actually learn the material since examples are barely explained before moving on. The instructor rushes through everything, especially the hands-on parts. I've had to rewind countless times just to understand basic concepts.There are maybe 2 or 3 quizzes randomly scattered throughout and a final quiz. That's it. No real practice, no exercises between lectures. It's basically just watching someone read slides fast. This isn't a course—it's a video of someone going through a presentation.If you're serious about the certification, you'll be doing most of the actual learning on your own, outside this course. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!Monotonous course. Instructor reads slides verbatim with a dull, unengaging voice. Some slides contain errors. Feels no better than AI-generated summary audio from Snowflake docs. By far the most boring course I've taken.I had high hopes for this course, but unfortunately, the delivery fell short especially for non-native English speakers like myself.It feels like the entire course is just being read out loud by an AI, with no human touch, no emotion, no humor, and no natural pauses. The voice is too low and monotonous, making it very difficult to follow or stay engaged. You have to focus extremely hard just to catch what the AI is saying, which defeats the purpose of learning comfortably.I even asked a few of my friends who watched the same video, and they had the exact same reaction. it was hard to understand, and the flat, robotic narration made it feel like the whole course was compressed into one continuous, rushed line.Honestly, it doesn't feel like you're learning from a person; it feels like you're reading subtitles to an audiobook. Very disappointing.This course is not designed well I mean, not explained well. The tutor is try not to explain the things, but reading the slides and even the codes and he don't even explain me how I have to integrate myself the databases to the canvas and going to too fast I mean in terms of studying it's better to read by yourself in the official document or prefer some better YouTube videos than this course. This course is waste of your time just skip it.just reading out with out properly explaining the context. ambiguous usage of cluster/node. There isn't clear step by step build up of concepts.I already completed one Snowflake course by Schuler and wanted to learn more and started this course. Based on the few concepts/points covered in the first few sessions I thought it is going to be good and I can learn a lot. But the boring voice is a big let down. I can't stop yawning when I sit down to learn, even though that's when my mind is most active :D Not for meThe delivery lacks clarity and engagement, I was expecting a teacher-to-student(s) style of training as all other courses, but this course feels more like notes being read aloud by a speech recognition tool. Overall, I’m disappointed.Very theoritical. And not much practical knowledge and usage. Honestly I didnot like the course because I am not enjoying it. I am feeling that I am wasting my time and money on such coursesI really regret paying for this course. Although it says it’s for beginners, it uses way too many technical terms and difficult vocabulary, making it completely unsuitable for someone new to the topic. After just 2–3 videos, I found it very hard to follow. The explanations are dull and overly simplistic. Honestly, ChatGPT could explain the same topics in a much clearer and more engaging way. The visuals are confusing and don’t really help and the English used is so complex that I can’t even focus on the visuals. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.Too many lectures, not enough hands-on practice.If you are solely looking from certification point of view, this would not lead you to passing marks as many topics which are asked in the certification exam are just touched upon!very low volume. Tried many volumn setting but this course is horrible inauidableI don't like the way the author presents the course. Reading the slides and codes with such a speed left few chance for audience to digest some abstract concepts. I would rather reading the official docs with a targeted syllabus in hand.It is not very easy for the beginner to follow. The instructor simply reads the scripts, very plain or boring. I just mute the video, read the scripts by myself, because he reads it too fast and not very clear. It is hard for non-native speaker to understand.
